Order never received - no way to contact Nisaku directly
I never received my order. I sent multiple emails to the help line at Nisaku with no reply!
Great tool Not so great service
I ordered 5 each of the tawashi crevice seeder and Hori Hori knife. My order arrived in a plastic bag with one knife missing. I immediately emailed the help line of Nisaku and contacted the USPS, As the bag appeared damaged and taped. The post office was helpful in directing me to file a claim, but I never heard from the shipper. I intended to ask why a heavy order was sent in a flimsy plastic bag instead of a box or at least a sturdy shipping envelope? As of now I am short one knife and apparently the company feels it’s not their problem so never bothered to respond to my email.
Sidewalk Weeder
I had issues with this product from the start. In my opinion, it wasn't sharp enough to cleanly and properly trim, cut or slice through most of the weeds I was trying to remove between the cracks in the sidewalk in the front of my home.
I've only used it a few times so far, but it seems to do a brilliant job. My only critique is that the material in the comb feels a bit thin, and I worry it might bend easily with regular use. In its current state, I'd say it's excellent for hobbyist home use, and a bit thicker metal would help it stand up to more long-term wear and tear.
Nice Gardening Pocket Tool
Great little, lightweight, but durable, weeding tool to keep in your shirt pocket while gardening. Allows me to do some quick weeding as I go along the garden edges, patio, and paths, especially between the pavers and bricks.
